US: fisherman catch the same tiger shark he caught last year

The giant 1,200 plus tiger shark caught a year ago by a Hilton Head charter fisherman and satellite tagged for research resurfaced the past week fished by the same captain.Capt. Chip Michalove of "Outcast Sport Fishing" said that the big tiger is a lot bigger, much stronger.

CHINA: caught a 1,000 plus pound white shark

According with Chinese-language "Netease News" some images have emerged showing a great white shark weighing more than 1,000 pounds (450 kilos) on display at a market in Zhoushan, China.




The 14-foot shark was said to have been caught “mistakenly” last week in a net hauled up on a blustery night.

FLORIDA: caught and released big sawfish from a pier

An angler n on Naples Pier in Florida hooked into a smalltooth sawfish that captured the attention of dozens of beachgoers.

The pier fisherman had no recourse but to walk down the pier and onto the beach in an attempt to take the hook out and release the huge sawfish, but that was easier said than done.
